what if I never write on this blog? no one will follow my adventures any more!!
well, "adventures" is a big word actually, because besides of work i'm not doing much.
But I had a really nice end of holidays, here in Paris with my best friends :)
Kerstin and Meike were here, Marina too, and we spent New Years with Maeva and Jessica, at Jess' sister. It was a great night, well, i don't say more, i guess you all saw the pics on Ringo hihi.
Now back to work, i like my work, i don't have much too say about it, i guess you wouldn't understand much about it, and i'm not sure you're interested in it anyways..
And I'm not alone in paris anymore (ok i wasn't before either ... :s) marina and renate are here :D this is gonna be cool!
Not much more right now, when i have more exciting news, you'll be posted!

If you're out there on the road, feeling lonely and so cold,
All you have to do is call my name and
I'll be there, by the next train ...

Ahah I just re-discovered the Gilmore Girls! hey, this is such a cool series!!
And talking about series, my hero Jack is coming back!!! ok, i know i won't be able to download so well ... i'll have to find a trick to see season 6 ... but nevermind, makes me happy anyway! i missed his voice so much ... dammit!
What else?
Yes!!!! i'm going to Verona at the end of February!!! this is gonna be SO COOL! 3 days meeting with colleagues, and the week end in Venizia, what am i asking for? gosh, that makes me so excited already :)
AND, New Years' coming, celebrating in Paris, with Maëva, Kerstin, Meike and Marina, AND loads of cool people :) So looking forward, and I'll be able to post pics after, cos i now have my own digital camera :D I very much sound like a spoilt child don't I??
Saw "Happy Feet" yesterday, it's a cute one, can't find another word, and the songs are great!!
What else?? i just wanted to post to say that i didn't disappear and that I'm happy to change year because this is gonna be a great year (not that 2006 was so bad for me, wouldn't dare saying that...), and because i wanted to shout around my happiness, to prove i'm not only complaining on this blog :D

Renate, i did your test too, here are the results (it's soooo completely me!):

:)

helloooooow!
i had a great week end! Katharina and Martin arrived on Friday morning. I finished working at 3 so i even had a longer week end :)
*Friday evening we went to La Defense, because I had seen the Xmas market had opened. Yea, but we arrived too late and there was nothing openned any more. ahah. So we went to the Champs Elysées and it was beautiful, with the Xmas lights :)
* Saturday we went to the market, then to the Pere Lachaise cemetery, and then to Montmartre and the Sacre Coeur. We went to Amelie's café hihi I was just sooo happy about it! then we had a kind of picnic on top of Montmartre. Then went back to the center and were ready to go home, when i saw ... an ice skating ring in front the Hotel de Ville (townhall). So of course, i got crazy and i wouldn't have leave Kath&Martin in peace if we hadn't done it. ahah. So they came with me and we were skating for a little more than an hour, it was so cool!
* Sunday we went to the Pompidou center and we saw the exhibition on the 4th floor, which was for free. It was on images and movement, it was nice. And then I got pierced on the tongue :) I had been wanting that for so long, and that was the moment (don't ask me why, i just felt it), so i did it :) Then we went to the Ile de la Cite, where we saw Notre-Dame and we had a walk in the Latin area. It was very nice! We discover a bookshop, oh so great! You know this kind of very small and old bookshop where you have books everywhere ... felt really like one of the boutiques on Diagon Alley!

News without context, but just to say it:
- Marie is coming next week end;
- I'm on holidays in 2 weeks 1/2;
- I still didn't buy any Xmas present (and of course I have no ideas);
- In February I'm gonna travel everyweek (in France, but that's a beginning);
- I just ordered a jeans on internet (ahah hope it'll fit);
- I started a book that looks great, The Pillars of the Earth;

- and because today's a special day : "happy birthday Maeva!!!!" *hug*

Note to potential readers: you don't HAVE to (try to) read this post ! Its not telling anything, I just wanted to shout out loud :)

oh woow, that was a week end!
I'm just completely worn out, but it was worth it :) Marleen came here on Friday evening and left just an hour ago. From then til now, we didn't stop ... walking around Paris!
We went to the most cool places ;) Yesterday night e.g. we were just wandering close to Notre-Dame, and saw some people very well dressed, heading towards somewhere ... so we decided to follow then, you know, just to know where they were going. And there we went, they were going to a famous bal for lawyers or something like that. How do I know? Because Marleen asked a guy who was there waiting in his tuxedo. AHAH. we clearly didn't fit in there, even if i was fashion dressed with my jeans and my boots LOL. Then we headed towards the Opera, just to see a big white limo going to some hype location. And then, like common people that we are, we went to the Galeries Lafayettes, where the Xmas lights were on:

Then what? well, today we went walking in the Bastille area (very nice place indeed) and then Montmartre and Place Vendome ... you know, this place were you have the most famous and expensive jewelry in the world (or so they say)... that really is another world, i have to say ... this rich world were people wear sunglasses not to be recognized, where they are driven in big limos or black cars by chauffeurs ... not my world at all!! but it's funny to see how different worlds can exist in the same city ...
So i was a tourist this week end, and from this point of view i must say .... Paris is beautiful ;)

Hallo gente! I went zurück to Bonn el fin de pasado!! Yes my sentence has words from the 3 languages I spoke last week end :)
I really had a great week end :) Let me tell you about it:
*I arrived directly at Katharina's party on Friday night like, just before 12, but in time to be there and sing "Alles gut zum Geburtstag" at midnight. She shares a house with 5 other people so we had the whole house for the party! Just imagine, it was great. I didn't know much people, but there were some people from FLO and it was so good to see them again! So I spent the night with Felipe, Lisa and Martina. And whith Martin too (Katharina's boyfriend), he got me drunk by opening a bottle of champagne for the two of us ahah. And I spoke Spanish most of the evening, it was cooooool, how i missed that!
I got home early in the morning. "Home", yea, just imagine the feeling .. going back to my ex-flat ... it didn't change and i really felt like at home... great feeling!
*Saturday, well, i had some trouble getting up, but once that was done, i went for a big shopping tour in the city center. I think I bought the whole DM lol. well, was nice to be there.
In the evening, well we didn't feel like doing something big (Martin puked the whole Saturday AHAH) and just had a cocktail in the center.
*After a good long night sleep, I went to Katharina's place so we could have breakfast together, and we chatted for a long time. Then went back to have a coffee in the city center and guess who we met there, just exactly in that same coffee? John lol, my ex-but-still-boss. I think we were both surprised to see eachother so we didn't really get into a conversation. That was funny though.
And then I had to head back to the train station. Didn't really want to go back, you know, I really enjoyed my week end.... "one has to do what one has to do!"
I'm very glad that Katharina and Martin are coming to visit, they really are good people.

And today .. well today began my lonely week! Lonely because my 2 colleagues aren't here and i'm alone running the office! sounds great and exciting right? well that sounds scary too! It's hard to actually cover for someone when you don't know half the things this person knows .... i mean, i really try to do my best but there are thing i just don't get ... and it's hard to say to someone on the phone who really expects an answer from you that, well, you just don't know what to say because you're not Cristiana and you know she won't be back before March 2007 and you have to figure out an plausible answer so that the person on the phone doesn't think you have no reason to be where you are. I don't know if you got that. Well. I'll try my best this week. I'm doing the best I can with the understanding and knowledge that I have. Thank you Miss Hay, for giving me a powerful thought to work on each day!
